Sambou “Bubba” Camara is one of today’s most prominent young music executives. Highbridge the Label, or HBTL, was founded by Camara in 2016. Highbridge the Label is a New York record label based in the Bronx. Since its inception in 2016, HBTL has released a slew of chart-topping singles and has received a multitude of awards, certifications, and other honors. While being one of the most prominent indie labels in the northeast, HBTL has fostered the careers of some of the most notable artists of the last decade.
Highbridge, The Label’s first signee was A Boogie. A Boogie is one of the most successful contemporary musicians. Boogie and HBTL made their debut following the release of his first mixtape, “Artist.” Then, Boogie and HBTL signed a deal with Atlantic Records. Camara has been able to scale the size and success of HBTL to new heights thanks to this collaboration. With dozens of platinum and gold certifications, Camara & HBTL have amassed a devoted following. A Boogie’s core supporters, combined with Camara’s expertise, have allowed HBTL to establish an enormous foothold in the NYC hip hop arena. Other HBTL signees, such as Don Q and Trap Manny, have also helped propel HBTL to the pinnacle of hip hop fame.
Several widely successful releases, as well as a strong roster of talented artists, have contributed to Camara and HBTL’s success.
