Natalie Nichole, singer songwriter and all around entertainer has
pleasantly surprised us with a Latin record “Dame Tu Cadaver”
We definitely got a treat listening to this record hearing Natalie
roll those R’s and sensually talk and sing to us in Spanish, We
caught up with the Queen Dove to ask what inspired this Latin
song and she had this to say.
NATALIE: “DC1-30 sent me this beat and as soon as I heard the wind in the beginning of it I was sold. DC has produced a lot of other records so naturally it wasn’t hard for me to grave vibe the beat was giving off. My writing process for Spanish records is a little different than my English records but I’ve always enjoyed writing in Spanish and feel a close language even though I don’t speak it. I’m half Latina and to be able to express in that way is fulfilling and I know would make my Grandmother Guadalupe so happy. To add to that my Mother actually wrote a few lines on this record so being able to officially turn my Mom into a songwriter was a beautiful feeling. I released this record on her birthday this year 2/16 and gave her a plaque to celebrate her accomplishment. My Mom has always told me that she’s gotten to do a lot of things just because I venture off to do them and then involve her so to be able to make a dream like being a songwriter become reality for her knowing she’s always been a poet and has written a few songs & jingles in her life truly makes me so happy. Being a songwriter wasn’t my Mother’s main goal or anything but even making a small dream of my Mothers come to fruition makes my heart smile.”
NATALIE: “I have a lot up my sleeve this year. What I’m mostly excited about I can’t really mention yet because it’s still in look forward to catching people off g “The Unexpected.” I can’t wait to see how the rest of the year unfolds. I know surprises thrown in the hat that I don’t know what all will pop up besides what I already have planned which is exciting for me. I can’t
put into words my gratitude for my current team and everything in the works I just know this will be a GREAT YEAR for prosperity and furthering many avenues of my career(s).
